Small Choices, Better Dance Clips

A clear subject and readable movement give the AI a stronger starting point.

  • Keep One Subject Easy to See

Start with one person in even light. Avoid covered faces, crossed limbs, and tight crops around the hands or feet.

  • Match the Dance to the Photo

Use a full-body photo for footwork. For a closer portrait, try small shoulder movements or hand gestures.

  • Use a Clear Motion Reference

For custom motion, pick a clip with one visible dancer, a steady camera, and few cuts. Keep the pose and framing close to your photo.

  • Change One Thing at a Time

If details drift, try smaller movements or a clearer photo. A note like “keep the camera still” is more useful than a long list of changes.

AI Dance Generator FAQ

Templates, custom motion, and what to expect from your result.

  1. 1

Do I need to write a dance prompt?

No. The selected template video provides the motion. Upload one clear photo, choose a template, and generate. Additional notes are only sent when you enter them.

  2. 2

Can I use my own dance video?

Yes. Use Upload video in the dance selector to add a motion reference, then add the photo you want to animate. A clear dancer and steady camera make the movement easier to follow.

  3. 3

Which dance styles can I try?

Browse K-pop, Amapiano, shuffle, beat-drop spin, stage performance, baby, and pet templates in All templates. Every template starts from one photo and uses its preview clip as the motion reference.

  4. 4

Will the result copy the dance and face exactly?

The photo and motion reference guide the result, but exact identity, choreography, and timing are not guaranteed. Start with simple moves and review the face, hands, and feet throughout the clip.

  5. 5

Can I make a baby or pet dance too?

Yes. Choose the Baby or Pet category in All templates. Small sways, hand gestures, paw lifts, and head bobs are a better starting point than complex human choreography.

  6. 6

How much does a dance video cost?

The Generate button shows the credit cost before you submit. Templates and uploaded motion videos can use different workflows and costs. Choose a subscription or one-time credit pack above if you need more credits.

  7. 7

Will my video have a watermark?

Generations funded entirely by signup or daily-login credits carry a ReelMuse watermark. Generations using purchased credits are watermark-free. Paying later does not remove a watermark from an existing video.
