These remember choices such as language and interface preferences. For example, ReelMuse may store the selected locale in a first-party cookie.
Analytics and Performance Technologies
When enabled, these help us understand page visits, feature use, errors, performance, and conversion paths. Providers may include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Plausible, OpenPanel, and Vercel Analytics. Depending on provider configuration, these technologies may collect device, browser, page, referrer, approximate location, session, interaction, and diagnostic data.
Attribution and Affiliate Technologies
ReelMuse may retain a first-touch utm_source value for up to 30 days to understand where registrations originate. When enabled, Affonso or PromoteKit may use cookies or scripts to attribute a signup or purchase to a referring partner. Affonso's attribution period is configurable and defaults to 30 days in the Service.
Payment and Embedded Services
Payment, authentication, media, or other third-party pages may set technologies on their own domains. Their policies govern those technologies.
3. Duration
Technologies may be:
- Session-based, expiring when the browser session ends; or
- Persistent, remaining for a defined period or until you delete them.
Exact names and durations may vary when providers change their SDKs or configuration. Third-party retention is controlled by the relevant provider; the list above describes the providers ReelMuse can enable.

You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies, clear local storage, and limit third-party tracking. Blocking essential technologies may prevent sign-in or other core functionality. Browser privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control where legally applicable and technically supported, may also communicate an opt-out preference.
